Kiwi Apple Smoothie For Weight Loss
Ingredients for 1 serving | Total time: 5 minutes
- 1/2 an apple (peeled, cored & cubed)
- 2 small kiwi (peeled & cubed)
- 1 cup of baby spinach
- 1/2 cup of almond milk
- 1 scoop of 100% vanilla whey protein powder (optional)
- 1 Medjool date (pitted)
- 1/2 cup ice (optional)
How To Make Kiwi Apple Smoothie
Add the milk, apple, kiwi, spinach, date, and ice to a high-speed blender and blend until very smooth. It may take around 3-4 minutes to puree as many kiwi seeds as possible.
Note: I did not peel the apples because the skin contains extra nutrients so if you decide to do the same, blend your smoothie for an extra minute.
Garnish with chia seeds and some sliced apples and voila, you’re done!

Substitutions
I’ve tried this smoothie with peanut butter and chia seeds. I also added 1 tablespoon of oatmeal once and it was great. If you do decide to use almond butter, oatmeal, and chia seeds, reduce your protein powder to half a scoop.
How To Store This Kiwi Apple Smoothie
I don’t like to store smoothies that contain greens for hours, although you can, it’s best to drink them right away to get all the nutrients.
With that being said, you can keep this smoothie in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. Just make sure to store it in a smoothie bottle, give it a shake, and drink it.
