As you may already know, I’ve been testing different watermelon smoothie recipes this whole month. Some came out great and others were extremely yuck! I’ll spare you the details. This recipe however, came out amazing so I had to share…
Watermelon Peach Banana Smoothie Benefits
Watermelon – has a unique flavor, a little bitter, a lot of sweetness, and slightly sour. It’s also a rich source of antioxidants such as beta-carotene and lycopene. Both are great for skin, eyes, and help prevent cell damage.
Peach – adds a sweet fruity flavor to this smoothie plus a good amount of vitamin C, & A along with fiber, and a little bit of beta-carotene.
Banana – adds extra creaminess, flavor, healthy carbs, and a good amount of potassium and magnesium to smoothies. It’s also great for gut health cause it contains fiber, prebiotics and probiotics. [1]
Almond milk – is actually my favorite nut milk cause it adds a distinct almond flavor to my smoothies. It’s also low in calories, carbs, fat, and gets you some vitamin E, D, & a little bit of calcium.

Storage & Variations
This watermelon peach banana smoothie is deliciously thick and creamy so it keeps well in the fridge for a few hours or overnight. I don’t recommend storing it longer and it’s best to drink it right away after blending.
Variations
You can add nuts, seeds, and even nut butter to this smoothie, chia seeds are my favorite and they go well with most smoothies. You can never go wrong with a handful of almonds in smoothies and they also add some protein and vitamins.
